Getting to the hotel

From Budapest Airport

By public transport:

Take the bus 200E towards Kőbánya-Kispest M, and travel for 11 stops. Get off at Kőbánya-Kispest P+R station and walk 200 meters to reach Kőbánya-Kispest metro station. Take the metro line M3 towards Lehel tér, travel for 12 stops and exit at Westbahnhof. From there, walk 500 meters to arrive at the hotel.

By car:

Take the fastest route via Route 4, to arrive at the hotel. The journey can take 30 - 55 minutes, depending on the traffic.

From Budapest-Nyugati Railway Station

On foot:

Walk 300 m on Grand Boulevard and arrive at the hotel in 5 minutes.

Hotel Rooms

Single rooms are €135 per night. Double rooms are €155 per night. All attendees are requested to book their hotel stay via the link provided to get the Euro-IX rate by 1 November, 2024. See here.  After this time, Euro-IX cannot guarantee the room rate for the hotel. 

Delegates are required to book all hotel rooms directly via the Radisson Blu Beke Hotel website. Euro-IX will not be booking hotel rooms for delegates. In your confirmation email once you register for the event, you will receive a booking code which you can use to book your room.

We will advise the hotel of the list for whom Euro-IX is covering two nights just before the event and ask them to add credit to those people's room bookings.

Cancellation Policy

We encourage all attendees to the Euro-IX Fora to give the Secretariat as much advance notice as possible if you can no longer attend. We understand that circumstances beyond your control do occur, such as illness, emergencies and last minute change of plans. However, if you know you are unable to attend the fora please where possible let us know as soon as possible, so that we can avoid hotel cancellation charges.

If Euro-IX is subject to any cancellation charges they will be forwarded on to the IXP.

You can accomplish this by following the steps below:

2. Enter the dates of check in / check out, as well as occupancy details, then select Special rates ->  Promotional code. Promotional code is: EUROIX  
3. Enter, then click on Check availability. 
4. On the next page, please select the type of room you want to reserve, then click on "Select”.  From here, please fill out all requested details accordingly to finalise your reservation. IMPORTANT: If you are using the free accommodation offered by Euro-IX as a standard member, Euro-IX will only cover the cost of a single room for two nights, at a rate of €135 per night. If you book a larger room or make a reservation too late to get the special price from Euro-IX, any extra costs will need to be paid by you directly to the hotel.

The special promotional code of the event is valid until 1st November 2024, after this date, we can only  accept your accommodation request based on our available public rates and available capacities. Please remember to reserve your accommodation before this date!  

Cancellation policy:  
Reservation can be canceled free of charge 14 days before arrival. Any cancellation received after this date will result in a 100% late cancellation fee charged to the provided credit card.
