Sander has been working on internet stuff since 1995, when a friend asked him whether he could build an internet provider. Since then he has completed his computer science degree at the University of Twente and become very involved in the RIPE community. He has been the RIPE Address Policy Working Group co-chair for 11.5 years and started his own consulting business in 2010.
Since 2021 he is working for 6connect, a company that makes IP address, DNS and DHCP management software. Here he helps with new features like network discovery, circuit and datacenter management functions.
Together with Jan Žorž he deployed an anycast network, which he will present about at Euro-IX 36.
