Maria Isabel Gandía is the Head of the Networking Unit at CSUC, the Consortium for University Services in Catalonia. At CSUC, she manages the Catalonia internet exchange, CATNIX and the regional research and education network in Catalonia, Anella Científica.
She collaborated as part of the Benchmarking Club for the Euro-IX association for 7 years and she currently is a member of the Euro-IX Board. She is also a founding member of the ESNOG association (Spanish Network Operators Group). Regarding research and education, she participates in the GN4-3 (GÉANT) project and is a member of the SIG-NOC (Special Interest Group for Network Operation Centers).
